Ryan J. Kernosky, MPA - Municipal Consultant

Ryan Kernosky began Kernosky Consulting in 2016 after wanting to provide exceptional community development services for smaller communities with limited budgets. In 2018, recognizing the growing firm, he renamed the firm to Municipal Group to better represent the people who make communities we work for better.
Ryan is the principal consultant, and holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Public Policy with a minor in Small City Analysis from the University of Illinois and UW-Stevens Point, respectively. He has served as the City Planner and Zoning Administrator for Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (pop. 9,500), Director of Community Development for the City of Isanti, Minnesota (pop. 6,500), Director of Community Development for the Village of Plover, WI (pop. 13,000), and currently serves as the Director of Community Development & Executive Director for the Redevelopment Authority for Stevens Point, WI (pop. 27,000).

James Siebers - municipal assessor
James Siebers brings 40 years of municipal assessing experience to Municipal Group. James has worked for a number of communities in Wisconsin as a full-time and contracted assessor over his career, and recently joined the Municipal Group team to provide assessing services to our clients. James holds an Assessor III license from the State of Wisconsin.
